  There are many great designs here and it will be hard to choose. All the ones with 4 stars are on the right track with interesting icons, clean, attractive fonts and mostly good use of colors, color gradients and clarity. The name Laserbeam Software should be easy to read, so large enough to go on a banner or web page, but legible on a business card. Too light or grey can be difficult to see. Shadows look nice on a web page, but will need a version without it for printing. I'm avoiding logos that can be easily mistaken for something else (like an eye, flower, plug, wrench, etc). Also am leaning away from logos that try to create an LB. Most of those just look like a large B anyway.

  Like the direction of some of these, but everything is black, gray and red. Would like to see some more color combinations. Red should be the primary color.

  Like the logos with an icon beside instead of above or below because vertical space is more limited than horizontal space. Don't like the yellow orange color scheme or round name in #2. Like the direction of 5, 6 and 7 with the typeface and use of icons, though the icon for 7 looks like a bird head.
