  Great job to those entries still in the contest. Many have incorporate the residential and commercial construction. One common comment from our board reviewers is that they all have preferred the eye-catching designs that are CLEAN and SIMPLE. (Also, note that designs should also be embroidable on a shirt). Designs will be submitted to the board first thing in the morning Hawaii Time, 11 hours from now. Get your designs in before our deadline in just a few hours.   It is crunch time. There is about 1 more day before the contest will end. one last bit of advise, to have a better chance of winning the contest, your design should represent a construction company that builds houses and commercial buildings. The design should express that of a high-quality construction contracting firm. (not mistaken for a real estate or development company) Re-evaluate your designs to make sure it meets these criteria. Good luck! Again, our name should say "STRUCTURAL BUILDERS" with 'Hawaii' de-emphasized but included somewhere. No "incorporated".

  All- we've decided that the logo should say "Structural Builders". Do not just have the word "Structural" emphasized by itself. Also, Hawaii should be shown but not emphasized. Do not include "Incorporated".

  #77- we want a little more than just buildings in our logo. Can you develop it more. Construction lines concept is okay, but we don't particularly care for the hexagon shape.

  #42- the construction lines that frame the building and text is interesting. please develop this concept further. We are not sure if we would like it in our logo, but there were a few positive comments about it, especially around the text.

  #47- as noted for some of the other designs, we will likely shy away from a logo that focuses solely on a commercial building. The icon needs to be developed more to be on the table in our board room for voting.

  #24- your design was very popular in our board room. People liked it for the reasons mentioned earlier. We also liked the overall form of the icon which outlines half of a house. Very cleaver! The design incorporates a commercial building, a residential form, and the subtle indications of our tropical environment. Good job! You can withdraw all the designs using red. The blue theme was liked more. As mentioned, please eliminate the word "builders" from the bottom line. Some people feel like the text and word can be developed further, but were not sure if by improving the text, it would not match the logo icon and may take away from the cleverness of the logo icon. Anyway, try to improve the fonts/text.

  #36 thru #43- the commercial business office building does not fully capture the total business line that we provide. We are general contractors that work on commercial, residential, roads and government utility projects. (emphasis on commercial and residential structures). We will probably shy away from a design that incorporates only commercial buildings.

  #45- most of us saw the S & B in the building but a few missed it. I'm not sure that our suggestion to try to incorporate S & B worked well. Maybe you can try to incorporate more into the design based on some of the feedback we've provided others. We like your concept, but it was a little too simplistic and limited in portraying what we do and who we are. please develop it further.

  #48- many liked your design, especially the font and text layout. We also liked how you incorporated commercial buildings with a residential house which expresses the variety of projects we work on. The subtle effects of the sea and palm tree leaves were a nice accent of the Hawaiian feel. We like the varying shades of gray and blue to add depth to your art. Nice work.

  #32- some board members liked your concept. We would like you to develop it more and look forward to some additional refinements. "Incorporated" can be eliminated. Structural Builders should be emphasized. Hawaii can be de-emphasized.
