What is an Otaku?
Otaku is a Japanese word roughly translated in America as “geek”. Common use is synonymous with fandom of anime, manga, videogames and Japanese culture. However, there are various kinds of otaku, the term can relate to a fan of any particular theme, topic, hobby, or any form of entertainment.

The goal of Otaku Nation™ is to provide various kinds of otaku a haven without the negative label that otaku often receive through other unfamiliar communities. The website will provide what is called an otaku station, which is a customizable diorama-like domain, which expresses your various interests, fandom, personal individuality, and artistic ability represented by your own unique otaku avatar.
