Describe who/what this design is about

Note that the name is one word and not two. We are also open to abbreviations or whatever comes to you.

The name comes from spearfishing at a specific beach in Rio (Arpoadaor Beach). We are a Brazilian firm, but we are proud of our American ties as well.

We are a venture capital firm that invests in the web services spaces: social media, SaaS, Web 2.0, etc.

Young company, but also with experienced partners.

#2 is more on track. I really like this logo. Can you make the ball in the background a globe? Also, I've decided that I was completely wrong on the orange. Let's replace that with the light blue Hex code I gave you. If that looks bad with the globe than try whichever color you think looks best. Great job!

For all designers: On logo - can you think of something representative of who we are and what we are doing? Three founding partners, three foci- brazil, us and the world, etc. maybe a three pronged trident? Maybe three harpoons forming a triangle?

Can I see this same design in the other color scheme (light blue to tan)? Also, can I see the two lower onces with the opposite text color (ex. Orange text with the blue background)? Lastly, I want to make sure that I understand this correctly, these are three separate logo pitches or just one?
