Creative Brief

Wooly's Ice House

Wooly's Ice House

Yes

Wooly's Ice house is a new flavored shaved ice dessert. The shaved ice is shaved super fine and has the texture of fresh powdered snow and it melts in your mouth instantly. It is a healthy alternative to frozen yogurt with fresh fruit toppings and syrups.

blue, light blue. although open to all, whatever the designer thinks would be best.

Our mascot is going to be a woolly mammoth. So here are some concepts we were thinking about. Most important is to keep it clean and simple

1. Using the letters "wooly" to make a mammoth (ie: W can be the ears, the two O's are eyes, the L is a trunk, etc.)
2. Our ice shaves out in sheets and it looks like ribbons. So incorporating that into our logo.
3. Making the initials of our company name into a mammoth and having Wooly's next to or under it.
4. The mammoth itself should be a web 2.0 style mammoth

Heres a link to some logos we really like

Really like the iron duck, spartan golf, mister cutts, and good duck logos.

Heres a video of us shaving the ice. Note the ribbon texture.

I know right... always go a different direction at the end. All those nice mammoths too.

Your observation is wrong. BIMPOP make the entire mammoth body, while aurelizza only make the mammoth head.

Well I still think the designs are based on the ones from aurelizza. The major change in BIMPOP's design was flipping the "Y" horizontally. BIMPOP says: "I am looking for a mammoth with my handwriting style" I would say: "so was aurelizza, however aurelizza found the mammoth first ;)" I also disagree with what octopus said about the designs that "all of them are almost similar..." just look at them again and you'll find that many of them have nothing to do with each other, unlike the ones from aurelizza and BIMPOP

quote from the brief : " Our mascot is going to be a woolly mammoth " criticaldesign comments that said designs submitted from BIMPOP are "based" from aurelizza! So I can say that it is not correct, cause we can see. there are hundreds designs with use mammoth as the element of design, and we can see too all of them are almost similiar...

I agree bimpop. is your freedom to explore the shape of mammoths. you have a distinctive style of handwriting.

By the way, most of the designs submitted from BIMPOP are "based" on draft#78 and draft#79 from aurelizza!

we want our logo to be web 2.0 style. most of the mammoths are too realistic. we also wanted some sort of clever usage of the letters or cleverly incorporating something that represents our company into our name. Please see our brief, we have a video of us actually shaving our ice. Just so you guys can see the texture of our shaved ice. please come up with some designs. we are very open to anything. thanks!!
