Creative Brief

Capture Me Films Logo

Capture Me Films

event cinema

Yes

This is primarily a wedding cinema launch, however, I don't want to be locked in only as "wedding cinematographer."

I want to focus on films that capture peoples emotions when then think no one is looking. I want to show the world from a point of view that makes you feel new things. I want to avoid the predictable and canned shots. I want to be authentic.

This is my other website. I like the feel of it.

I like this logo. I wonder what it would look like if the "me" was in a red box:

I was playing around with something similar:

I love the vibe from this company:

I will be making my final decision later today. I am very impressed with everyone's ideas. Many of them are valid and good ideas. Please do not be offended if I have not chose your idea. In the end it also comes down to personal taste which is very subjective. Thank you again to everyone who has submitted so many excellent ideas! Doug Clark

Several people have mentioned to me that the word "live" in "live event cinema" may cause some to think that what I do is broadcast a live event which is NOT something I do. Because of this I have decided to eliminate the word, "live." So any future submission should say, "Capture Me Films" "event cinema." Please don't feel you need to change your submissions that are already posted. Once we narrow things down I will ask to see a version without the word live. Sincerely, Doug

I am impressed with the creativity in all the designs that are being submitted. Many that I have eliminated are well done and thought out designs. The challenge is in choosing choosing what best fits not only the target audience but is also a good representation of me. Words like authenticity, honesty, genuine, creative, artistic and playful represent things I want to project. Thank you for your submissions, Doug

Design #47 by Creasian is a replica of #32 by angelice, therefore has been taken down.

As far as marks go, I think I prefer a more abstract representation rather than a literal one. The literal graphics feel to me too much like clip art even though they may be originals. For an analogy, I hate the literal painting style of Thomas Kinkade, whereas, I love impressionist painters. I hope you will continue to submit some more ideas:) Also, if you see a different color scheme in your mind's eye I am open to that too.

All the designs have merit, but I am opposed to anything that could be interpreted as clip art or resembles it in anyway. I am wondering if there should be a hint of elegance in the design since it is primarily brides that I will be targeting?
