Clean crisp logo for a Native American tribal court consulting business

Tribal Justice Support Center

Building Better Tribal Courts

No

The Tribal Justice Support Center offers an array of consulting services to help American Indian and Alaska Native tribes operate, improve, and enhance their tribal court systems. We offer pro tem (temporary) judicial services, court assessments, training and technical assistance, code and rule drafting, grant writing, and information and training on the federal Indian Child Welfare Act. I would like a very clean and crisp modern logo. Perhaps using an image of a traditional judicial gavel with a band of bead work and trailing feathers or a crossed gavel and feather. I'd like to convey a friendly and professional feeling with a Native American motif.

Maybe an evergreen, deep turquoise, dark but warm brown and/or black. Probably 3 colors. But I'm open to other ideas (except for red or orange.)

Perhaps using an image of a crossed gavel and eagle feather or traditional judicial gavel with a band of Native bead work and trailing feathers (I'll attach a photo.) I'd like to convey a friendly and professional feeling with a Native American motif.

With regard to #10 design, there is nothing Native American-looking about the design, even though it's very nice and clean. I'm also not wanting to use a round, or circle logo.

Regarding #4, 5 and 8, I do not want to use a headdress for a few reasons (symbol of war and my business has a national scope and the headdress is associated primarily with Plains tribes.) Regarding #6 and 7, the gavels look like they are boxing. One of the things tribes do is peacemaking through their courts. So a less confrontational image is needed. The gavels overlapping the circle don't look right (actually look a bit like wings on the circle) and they don't show up well against the circle. As mentioned previously, I do not want to use a circle as it is frequently used in other Native organizational logos and I want my design to be unique.

I would really like the judicial gavel included somehow.

I don't like the round design in #1, 2, & 3. It's too much like existing logos. And these designs are too busy with all those radiating lines.
