Describe who/what this design is about

We are starting a craft distillery in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania that brings together the exotic spices and flavors of East Africa with the locally-grown ingredients of Pennsylvania and North America. It should project a fusion of North American ingredients with exotic African flavors. The name, Kilimanjaro, is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world, an ode to our Tanzanian roots. We would like this to be a circular logo with “Kilimanjaro” and “Distillery” in the foreground (Kilimanjaro curved on the top and Distillery curved at the bottom) with an image of the mountain, 1 acacia tree and 1 (or 2) giraffe(s), in the background. Please see the images below for more inspiration. We would like a logo that can be easily transferrable to stainless steel equipment, drinkware, company attire, the website and packaging.

Hello Designers, Thank you for the additional submissions! Three suggestions: -Perhaps you could try to incorporate the cross-section/front of a whiskey barrel as the circular background of the logo: http://www.roundtablegifts.com/personalized-whiskey-barrel-sign-3red.html. -Can we try working with a square logo? Or a diamond shaped logo? -Can we see how each logo submission would look in black & white format? We really like the fonts and the top half of design #4, the simplicity of design #1, and the gold on maroon effect in #8. Thank you for the submissions! -Kilimanjaro Distillery

Hi Designers, These submissions are great thus far - especially the images of the mountain, tree and giraffe(s). Could you perhaps play with something more 'boxed' or horizontal instead of the circular logo? Two of the logos are beautiful but end up looking a bit like a school logo.
