Creative Brief

Logo for a career transition service

Audrey Prenzel Career Transition Services

Est. 2001

Yes

I am changing the name of my business and need a new logo. I am removing the name "Resume Resources" and simply renaming it "Audrey Prenzel Career Transition Services" as I do far more than write just resumes. As a career transition specialist, I write marketing material (resumes, CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles and more) for job seekers as well as deliver job search and interview coaching. My clients are educated, already employed and motivated to move up or move on. I would like the logo to have a professional connotation, with the suggestion of refreshing one's career ... a new, very successful beginning. I would like people to look at the logo and see that I bring hope and strategy to them to secure the type of job/lifestyle they want. I do not want people or shaking hands or briefcases or the usual cliche career images in the logo.

I like blue and green. I will consider other creative options though if something else comes to mind.

not sure

As a writer, I do like the idea of a quill or pen. There is an image of a black feather pen (quill) in my existing logo. A more modern looking feather would be fine or maybe something totality different! I want solid colouring. I do not like the graduated colouring in my current logo. My current logo is hard to print and depending on the sophistication of the printer, it rarely comes out looking the same twice.

I'm liking the blue and green from my original logo. As a reminder, I would like Est. 2001 in the design.
