This logo will represent a coatings solutions company that provides equipment, training, technical support, and chemicals to customers on a US and global scale.
Our company has multiple divisions: automotive, oil & gas, OEM, waste-water, and construction.
Our goal is to have this as the "parent" logo and all follow on product logos will be similar in design. we will have products under the name of "MarvelCoat" and "MarvelShield" and "MarvelPrime" etc.
As a result, the logo should be simple enough that it can be recreated easily for product types with the same conveying message.

Black, Grey, and White for this logo. we currently have a registered trademark of "Armadillo Liners" which is the name of our auto division. That TM logo is grey and dark orange. Our intent is to have a baseline Marvel logo that we would then alter a bit for our separate divisions (besides Auto) and we would have the logo in yellow for construction, blue logo for oil and gas, etc. Our current logo is blue, grey and silver.

I want the logo to be bold enough to capture the eye, but not too simple and boring. I would like a traditional logo type, but I'm not opposed to an abstract type.
We are going to expand this logo into other areas of our company.
