An important aspect of the logo is the name MikeL This is my first name "Mike" and my first Letter of my last name "L" I would like that conveyed in the logo so people do not think "Mikel" I was thinking if the M and the L were bigger than the ike. I may not like the ike to be lower case but would be open to it. I do like logos that have an simple abstract image that conveys what they do. I.e. an abstract paint brush in front or behind the company name. Or some abstract paint as in the sample of the B&K Painting. The logo can be just one color, but at the most two

    draft #8 & draft #9 is more of what I am looking for. I like that the size of the words or the same. When "painting" is smaller than the "MikeL" is doesn't look as good to me. draft #12 also catches my eye. I do not like the lower case letters and that "painting" is smaller, but it's more of what type of letters I like and simplicity of the design.
