This is a mobile app that lets business people shoot and send private, encrypted video messages to each other. Messages can be sent to one person or to many people. Those people can respond with video. It also includes secure text. The future will have other features as well like document and photo sharing The App also lets users recall messages so they disappear, app can be locked, users are notified is someone takes a screen shot of videos, sender knows who viewed messages.
The focus is on relationships, communication, privacy. There is a test version in the Apple app Store now entitled Aclipsa Secure Video Messaging. The colors are too dark and the lock is too common a theme - or maybe it's just a boring lock. There is a consumer version of this app for Apple and Android called ZipaClip. Nice clean logo whose colors could possibly be changed for this app.
Website is www.Aclipsa.com. Website does not address this app you are designing for as this app is a proof of concept of the technology platform Aclipsa owns. It will be a demonstration. (FYI - By that I mean, any company with an app can use the technology to put video recording and playing in their own app. You don't need to address this.)
Target audiences are any businesses that need a way to communicate confidentially. Examples of a few industries and uses:
• Enterprise-wide safety for BYOD employees
• Fans-only content for sports, music, games, entertainment industries
• Sports stakeholder messaging between owners, coaches and players
• Employee training and proprietary company information to employees
• Fashion, creative, tech, scientific, manufacturing collaboration
• Emergency response inspections of natural and human disasters
• Political campaign management, fundraising supporter updates
• Medical communication between health care providers
• Job interviews with recruiters, employers and candidates
• Financial advisers recommending direction to clients and client questions
• Producers and planners of events and productions daily communications
Business Opportunities
Keep it simple.
There are three needed elements:
1) Mobile Device App Icon - will appear the size of a thumbnail on a phone or tablet, in the app store, and on the app splash screen
2) The words, Aclipsa Messenger, need to be part of the overall design - but not embedded in an image or icon
3) Background color that compliments the other elements to be used for the splash screen
Don't use ZipaClip colors as depicted on that website or app
Incorporate the Aclipsa maroon only if it makes sense
No gray backgrounds when using maroon
No color restrictions. FYI - Many companies use blues to imply trust but not necessary.
