Describe who/what this design is about

Professionalism, upscale, classy.

I work in an area that will focus on upscale living and properties. I want it to be professional, not cartoonish. I like colors that are earthtones like browns and blues. However, I plan to partner with Re/Max and using those red and blue colors would also be an idea.

The logo needs to convey real estate, so having a house design would be great. I also like trees and I live in an area with lots of oak trees.

This logo will be used on business cards, post cards and websites. (which will be a contest launched after initial logo design is completed)

I've seen some logos with a house type illustration in the back, a swirled name underneath with a standard font url under that. Trees next to the house. I do like that, but want to have lots of other ideas to choose from.

How about just using my name and url as the logo and not adding any graphics? I'm finding it hard to be able to put an imagine in a design while also using the real estate company logo. Would like some examples of this too. Thanks!!

I would also be open to have my name on top of an image in a fancy font. Does that make sense? Combining both the text and image. It's in my head, but I don't know how to describe it. That way my name is the logo. I had one years ago with my name in the foreground and a fancy C in the background. It was easy to use on printed materials. Anyway, just an idea.

I see a design using the "&" symbol. In my brief I mentioned both names. They both need to be included, but they are separate. It is my name and my website. No "&" needed.
