This logo represents a health care organization, but the idea is that it will be modern in approach and style. The logo should be simple and direct and use a word form/fonts as wll as a grsaphic. The graphic should display something that represents moving water or a wave as the facility sits next to a large Bay/Ocean. It has to include the words Hampton VAMC or Hampton VA Medical Center.

We want a 'wave' or a symbol that represents water moving like a 'wave' or a 'ripple effect' (not water dropping or a tear drop, but an actual water element)

It should be a more modern looking font and a symbols that represents a body of water or a modern building near a body of water. One design we have discussed is turning the letter 'A' in the word 'Hampton' into an actual wave. There is an example of a wave logo in one of the uploaded graphics - for Wavy 10 TV. There are also other WAVE graphics available.

    This was a great design competition. The designs were unique and met the standard of why we were looking for as an organization. The decision was tough and we went to a vote of the designs through our organization as a whole and the overwhelming choice for our new logo was #13. The design was clean and dynamic and jumped out at everyone across the organization. I want to thank you all for the hard work and will strongly consider a couple of the designers as one-to-one designers for my next project. Regards and thank you all.

    The designs have been amazing and my leadership team has been very pleased. This project only lasts another day or so and our leadership team asked me to submit a quick sketch for you to consider of a wave they would like to see that incorporates both words. It has been uploaded. We will be making a decision fairly quickly after the project closes. Thanks a lot for every one's creativity

    #17 - very elegant, very clean...missing graphical element but I like the cleanness of the font selection for the logo. Try adding the wave/graphical elements #18 and #19 - Very impressive. great work...outside of the box thinking adding in the healthcare element great work #20 and #21 - Very, Very good work. rather clean and adds in wave element. Strong contender as well #13 - Great design incorporating colors and font but leaving clean, modern and simplistic There are several very, very impressive designs already. We are very impressed considering the contest hasn't been going very long and tehre is already amazing work. A little background: the logo is for a Health Care facility that sits next to a large body of water. It caters tomthoses who have served in the military. Don't be afraid to add in medical elements or a structure that looks like a building. The primary design , though, calls for simple straight forward font with an element that suggests water or moving water. Can be symbolic of a wave; perhaps with the wave incorporated into the font itself. Very good work!!
