He will provide a Case Conceptualization Model of risk and protective factors that informs both assessment and treatment decision-making. He will critique the concept of PTSD and the “state-of-the-art ” of trauma treatments and provide a detailed description of evidence-based cognitive-behavioral trauma-focused treatments that focus on patients with comorbid disorders such as Substance Abuse disorders, Borderline Personality disorders and those who experience Prolonged and Complicated Grief disorders using an Integrative treatment approach.
