Family Crest
virtus tentamine gaudet
No
Family crest. Liberty, strong will, prudence, perseverance, scholarly.
For the holders, I am thinking a Pegasus (winged horse) and/or a Phoenix.
For the items in the shield I am thinking cattails (represent peace and prosperity), a liberty bell (not afraid to signal approach / speak their mind), a closed book (signaling manifestation), and a fox (use wisdom and wit in self defense).
Potentially in the center of the shield or somewhere (perhaps hidden) would be the letter B (the first letter of my last name).
I'd like the latin phrase "virtus tentamine gaudet" in a banner across the bottom, it means "strength rejoices in the challenge".
Ivy leaves somehow used around the shield?
While I want the feeling to be clean and simple, a small amount of detail is ok. I envision using this on polo shirts and having this printed off on cards/vinyl.
Personal
Black, gold, and navy (maybe red instead of navy, but thinking navy for now).
