Amulet IT is specialist IT consultancy, solution and services company specialising in the rapid development and deployment of eCommerce, community and shared services management platforms.

Based in Sydney, Amulet IT delivers tomorrow's solutions and services, today.

Combining Agile Project Management with the latest rapid development platforms, Amulet IT takes the customer through the complete development life cycle protecting them from those costly and harmful 'IT Gotchas".

Amulet IT as the name suggests is about protection from harm. It is this theme that we would like to include in the creation of a sophisticated, integrated logo.

The core business of the company is IT consultancy, application development, online shared services platforms, and eCommerce.

The logo needs to be modern and professional with a reference to what the history of Amulet.

What we do NOT want is the logo to look like a traditional Amulet, but rather take the key design themes from this long historical tradition of this lucky charm that protects from harm and include this into a fresh, clean, simple professional services company logo.

IT by its very nature is fairly abstract and difficult to understand. However, it is our design that the logo create comfort and familiarity and be the connection between the known and the unknown IT Future and the unknown that the 01010101s brings with it.

In light of the above, our brief is to create something that is positive, protective and looks forward.

Works that includes Amulet ("A") IT "IT" are also welcome, but form an integrated logo concept, not simply stylised letters of varying fonts. These designs will be eliminated immediately, so please do not waste your creative energies, but rather focus on the creating an integrated logo that has Letters and a Symbol element. Alternatively, the entire name can be used Amulet IT. These variations are up to the designers and their creative passions.

    Dear Designers, We are looking for the following changes. To that end, we would be grateful if designers would please: - Avoid celtic looking symbols - go for sharper lines and a more modern interpretation of the amulet symbol. - We like the colour blue - please try to incorporate blue into the design. - Avoid 3D effects - aim for flatter designs. - Make sure the font is also cutting edge. - Please have options with and without the tag line 'IT that empowers'. Thank you for your assistance, we look for to the new designs.

    References to Australia are not necessary because the nature of IT is not bound by geographical boundaries in this case. To this end, we need it to cross border, cross culture and international in nature.

    Dear Designers, Thank you to those designers who have read the brief and sort inspiration from the uploaded files. Allow me to encourage those who have not looked at the uploaded files to do so as this is the field from which which we would like to draw inspiration and to contain the context. Specifically we are looking for an emblem/symbol that draws on the history of Amulets but transforms this into a modern fusion of old and new which results in a professional look and feel which would be associated with an IT Company. Different fonts with the words "Amulet IT" by themselves is not what we are looking for, but rather an integrated logo/symbol that inter plays with the words and the history of what an Amulet is. Good luck and thank you for your contributions....the uploaded pictures contain a lot to work with...
