We are a completely different BBQ concept. This will be a modern Fast Casual concept (If you're not sure what Fast Casual means think Chipotle Mexican Grill or Panera Bread). This logo will need to have a more, sleek, modern, trendy, hip, upscale look and feel than your typical "BBQ Joint". We are not a typical BBQ restaurant and do not want to have any of the "Pigs", "Shacks", "Joints", "Hillbillies" or other imagery that is standard in most BBQ restaurants associated with our logo design. We're not talking white table cloth, but more along the lines of "Chipotle Mexican Grill", or "Panera Bread".

This is where we're open to looking at different creative ideas. One one hand we like the idea of a very sharp, vivid, contrasting coloration like black, red, and white. We also like the idea of a more modern earth tone coloration similar to how Panera Bread has used. We are open to creative ideas.

The name of the restaurant is SMOKE with Fusion 'Q as a subtle tagline. Fusion 'Q does not need to be a big part of the logo, it needs to be there but subtly. The star of the show is the word SMOKE, it really needs to pop. We want the logo to be very clean, sleek, and modern. Maybe incorporate some sharp wisps of smoke through the logo (if it can be done without becoming gaudy). We don't want the logo to look hokey or corny but we do want it to be fun and not pretentious. Again we are VERY happy to consider other design ideas you might have. This logo will be used for everything, lighted signage, billboards, business cards, online marketing, brochures, etc so we will need it in formats that will allow us to use a high quality version of it in many different applications.
