Describe who/what this design is about

We are a strength and conditioning gym in Kobe, Japan. We'd like a professional but powerful logo to convey strength and fitness but also represent the city in which we live. Kobe is a port city with mountains on one side and a bay on the other.

Doesn't have to be this exact color palette if you have different colors that you think would work better!

A quick google search will give you an idea of Kobe Port Tower. We don't have the licensing rights to use the exact image and obviously don't want to have to deal with any legal repercussions... We'd love to capture the general feel of port tower without using the image exactly.
