Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

Montfort is the name of the school. This logo will be placed on school uniforms. It has to be simple. I don't want my logo to feel closed (inside of a circle for example). We want something dynamic, elegant and simple.
It would be nice to have :
1) A knight (body or face, or just lines) or (medieval stronghold)
2) A small cross (catholic)
I will upload some examples i like + our logo for our sport team.

Update -Symbol of kids being united and strength as a whole. - Logo is for a PRIMARY school. - Logo will embossed on shirts and used in letterhead. - The Knight is maybe too much of a war figure. - happy kids with knight helmets climbing and holding hands could be a great idea But opened to all great creativity.
