• Eng.Tarik Al-Zahid graduated from the USA ( Boston , North Eastern University ) 35 years ago and joined his father ( Mohammed Al-Zahid ) in the family business which was mainly focused in Construction, Trading and manufacturing.
• In 1983 Tarik Al-Zahid established his own company, which is known now as Tarik Al-Zahid Holding. Since then the company was involved in different aspects of business which includes Engineering and Consultancy, Trading, Chemicals, Manufacturing, Harvesting and Forestry, Construction and Real estate.
• Manufacturing is the main focus of Tarik Al-Zahid Holding, which acquires around 70% of the company business. The reason behind that focus is that we believe that the manufacturing business is a strong and solid business with solid income, that is ofcourse when it is designed and performed in the right and professional way.
• Our goal is to be the leading manufacturing company in the Middle East. Although our approach is different. We believe to become the best it’s not a matter of size only. We believe in order to become the best; you have to go places others didn’t go and be unique. It will of course require more effort, focus and time but once achieved, the givings are much more worth it and rewarding. That is what we learned from our experience working in this filed for over 27 years. For this reason Tarik Al-Zahid Holding always chose to engage in projects which are either new and one of a kind or at least first of its kind in the Middle East area.
• We deal with our international partners and worldwide consultants on a regular basis working on research and development for new innovations, inventions and technologies. Where we always look ways to transfer the best and most modern technologies and industries in the world to this part of the world. This way we benefit the whole region and help in the development and direct us to the level of competing with the most modern countries all over the world.

• Looking back at history is very important because it’s always good to learn from other people experiences, achievements and mistakes. We always like to study the history of our market and industries to take better decisions and improve our projects. But we never like to copy others. • Since we are a family of civil engineers we always look at things from engineering prospective. We like to believe that a company is like a building, the bigger you want to build it and the higher you want to go the stronger the foundations and bases have to be. Because once you start building on top you can’t change the foundations anymore, if it was designed poorly it will collapse any moment. We are proud that we started our company on this concept which is the reasons we take solid and steady steps which are studies and designed carefully. We design strong foundations for the future plans and keeping in mind the heights and achievements that we plan to reach in the future plans.

• The first and most important foundation which all our structure is built on is ethics. Ethics are the first and most important thing we consider whenever we plan to start a new business or run our organization. We never consider a project, which is built on wrong morals or even involves unethical actions of any form whether it was big or small. This is what we learned from our Islam religion, which we have been raised on since childhood. We always work so hard to keep our identity and who we are by not getting carried away by the rewards. We always remind our selves of who we are and where we came from, protecting our principles, values and heritage. We believe without an identity and values there is no future. By cheating in building the foundations to rise up quickly, you expose your structure to collapse since it was based on something wrong.

The Main Focus of this company is to run all the assets and business in hand and plan for the future of the company. It also looks for new opportunities to invest in and work globally with the partners and consultants around the world on the research and development of new projects. Beside that it looks for the opportunities of buying other companies and running them locally and globally.

2. Gulf Pallet Factory ( GPF ) : Been in business for 27 years in the business manufacturing wooden pallets and its one of the biggest in the market. Its main costumers is all the major companies in Saudi and the Gulf area, which includes Sabic, Aramco, and all the major factories in the area. Aiming to be the biggest in the market with the highest quality.

3. American Lumber: Purchases Timber from all over the world and sells it in the local market. Have strong international connections with the biggest timber suppliers in the world. This was formed during the 27 years of buying big quantities of timber and forming strong relations with the international suppliers and partners.

4. Tarik Al-Zahid Rubber Factory: Worked in producing Rubber products for the international tire industries over the last 20 year. One of the biggest and main 3 in the world and one of its kind in the middle east. The aim is to keep the top quality possible to be the best in the world.
