Describe who/what this design is about

This logo will be used for our wedding including save the dates, invitations, signage, website, etc. We want it to be the continuous symbol throughout the wedding. We are pretty casual people and will be having a low key wedding with a focus on amazing food, great drink, and killer music. Pat is a software engineer and Ros is a lawyer.
