What we are looking for is an overall brand icon and logo that can be used both online and for a retail storefront.
We want to position our store that provides the customer with excellent value, style and design with quality and service you can trust (hence, Trustmark). We not out to be the cheapest option around, but nor will you need to put on a suit to come into our store.
The logo design we're looking for should contain both a graphic element (or icon) as well as our company name (Trustmark Jewelers). We would like the icon or graphic to be strong enough to stand on it's own but simple enough to be engraved on to our jewelry items. You can think of it as a maker's mark that would be stamped or engraved on the inside of rings.
We're looking for a stylish, modern/contemporary design but don't want it to be too busy or cluttered. The text cannot be script since that doesn't work for retail store signage.

Since this does have to work in a retail store environment, the primary color needs to be red. It can be accented/complimented, etc., with gray, silver, black, chrome or any combo thereof (we leave that part to your discretion).

Out of the options provided to us by Zillion, the Puma cat and logo, the Audi rings and logo, Vodafone, Singapore Airlines, LG and Sun Microsystems are more along the lines of what we're looking for.
The logo/icon/graphic cannot be as complex as Starbucks, Nestle, Bacardi or Lamborghini.
