LDS Beginnings

No

Nonprofit designed to fund trips to historical sites of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to build awareness of the origins of the faith and to give new beginnings in the faith of those who participate in the trip.

We want the logo to convey one or more of the following attributes: strength, newness, beginnings, history, faith.

We like any of the following: green, yellow, brown, black, blue and their variations.

not sure

We would like to stay away from any traditional religious symbols such as crosses, etc.

We're open to new ideas, some of the ideas we've had for an icon or mark include: sun, acorn, leaves or tree growing (perhaps olive tree) but we are by no means committed to those ideas at this point. Please be creative!

We may be interested in options where the icon and the text could stand alone as well as together.

Great job guys! We appreciate all the great designs we've been receiving! Please keep posting! We'd like to see a few more with just an acorn as the object if anyone thinks they can pull it off. Also, if we can see a few more with just a wagon wheel as the object, that would be great.

Great job guys! We really like the work you guys are doing! We are finding from our focus groups that people generally are really liking the logos that are more refined, sophisticated, simple, and professional. The tree examples are great, but we also have to be careful with them because trees can sometimes in this setting imply genealogy rather than early LDS history. Don't let that scare you if you have a great tree design that isn't reminiscent of genealogy! We'd also like to see what everyone can do with some different objects other than a tree. Objects like a wagon wheel, a sun, an acorn, or other objects that represent a new beginning or early LDS church history.
