"NOHRC" is an annual conference for human resource professionals in Northeast Ohio. The conference draws human resource folks from all levels - entry level to the top HR officer within an organization. The conference provides an opportunity to network with peers, learn from subject matter experts within the HR "industry" and earn re-certification credits.
The theme of the conference is "Rhythms of Success" - and will emphasize "communication, collaboration, and trust."
Note the there is an "s" on the end of "rhythms" - meaning there are multiple attributes to the human resource industry.

Orange should be the base color. The group would like to complement the color orange with purple and black. Other colors are welcome; however, please stay away from BLUE, RED, and GREEN.

The theme has a musical connotation to it. The keynote speaker will be driving the key messages with the use of percussion instruments. However, musical scale, musical notes, and an abstract visual of "rhythms" would be examples (along with drums or other percussion instruments) that may work for the logo.
