This is a logo for an American foodservice brand. Products are sourced in the US and exported to overseas markets. Products include dressings, cooking sauces, and other ingredients for restaurants, hotels, bars, etc. It is important for the brand logo to highlight the American origin of the product ranges. Another important aspect to portray is the brand's prestige and high quality.

Red, White and Blue are essential to portray the American identity. In addition, there will be a an award ribbon that will have a golden-colored medal.

I want the designers to be creative but to keep the design relatively basic. Both "American" and "Classic" need to be straight line and probably one on top of the other. I also want a gold medal ribbon with 5 stars to be in the logo. How you incorporate the medal in the final logo is a matter of your own creativity. Please see the uploaded pictures for more detail and inspiration. I am uploading the existing brand logo with some pictures for inspiration. I will include details on how I visualize them being incorporated in the logo.
