Blog Logo for a Still Shooter Turned Videographer

(Old) Man in Motion

Yes

I want a logo to go with the title: (Old) Man in Motion. I'm a veteran professional still shooter migrating to video, and this new blog will be detailing my experiences in making the transition.

I have in mind a logo of an old guy in profile, standing behind a tripod with movie camera on it, but he has a super long beard and it’s blowing and flapping in the wind So it looks like he’s in motion so fast that his beard his blowing behind him

I would like to post two photos of two logos that have the feel of what I'm looking for, but this box doesn't seem to accept images.

It would be cool if the the guy old looked like me, and think a bald Santa Claus type, and you'd be close.

Since I'm shooting DSLR video, the camera on the tripod should like like a DSLR, and the easiest way to convey that the camera is being used for video and not stills is to stick a shotgun mic in the hotshoe.

I'm looking to have fun with this, without getting too grotesque:-).

not sure

I have a couple of logos of photographers in profile and silhouette that approach the style I'm looking for and can forward them, or post them (if I can figure out how on this site).

==========Update=============
(Old) Man in Motion. I’d like a logo to go with that title. I have in mind a logo of an old guy in profile, maybe like the Father Time , standing behind a tripod with movie camera on it, but he has a super long beard and it’s blowing and flapping in the wind. So it looks like he’s in motion so fast that his beard his blowing behind him. It’s corny but it could be fun.

I like the look of these two logos, the way they are in profile and silhouette:

This is a logo for a travel filmmaker who goes by the name: Express Filmmaker Draft A. Or this: This is a logo for an outfit called Storyhunter. Draft B.

But of course, we need to make the guy old (and bald, I guess to make sure it looks like me). As I said in my other brief, think a bald Santa Claus and that’s close to my look (we don’t have to go crazy on the rotundness, though).

But I’m open to all sorts of ideas, and the designers can have a little fun with it, and poke a little fun, but nothing too mean or too grotesque!

Thanks,

    IvanPetrov: I'm not quite sure I understand your suggestion. I don't recall requesting any specific pixel size (I may have provided two small logos as a design example, not a size example. I simply liked the design of those two figures, not necessarily the tiny size). I need this logo to be scaleable so it can be used at different sizes. I don't know what a vector shape is, but if it is something that will allow me to make the logo bigger or smaller as needed, then that's what I want. I'm sorry if you got the idea that I wanted something with a small pixel size. Hope this clears it up. Thanks! Bob

    Excuse me, Old man, I have an advice to You. I do not want to be rough! The decision is Yours. BUT: as I understand You have guaranteed the prize and ask for a small pixel image ( What are the dimentions? - for me they are problematic ). May be You should take someone`s other advice ( not mine ) why not to ask for a vector shape ( if this is still possible ) with a strict proportions. I know my english is not good, sorry. IP
