Creative Brief

Business Logo

Simply Simple Meals

No

I am developing a menu planning website SimplySimpleMeals.com (it is under construction). It will have recipes, cooking tips, money saving ideas, etc.
I want to use this logo on the site, brochures, and signs. Since I will be promoting in other media besides just online I am undecided about adding the .com to the logo design.

I would like to stay in earth tones or muted colors. I am leaning more towards green and/or blue, but am not against other ideas.

not sure

I had originally looked at playing off the " 2 s' " to make a design or using them to make steam off a plate...I liked the idea, but it doesn't have to be anything like that...I want to leave it to the professionals...the more original the better. As with most business, I want to took different and better than the competition. Other sites that are similar to mine are...

Attention Designers, You may upload multiple variations of one logo in one draft for the presentation purpose. However, winner of the contest will have to send final files with each version separated hence, one file should only have one color version of the finalized logo. We would appreciate your cooperation in this regards. Thanks!

Thank you again for your designs. I really want to focus on the the cooking aspect more than eating (not fork and knife)...maybe cooking utensils instead (spatula, saute pan, pancake turner, etc) and would like to incorporate it into the words...like the other logo links I mentioned earlier. Also, I am not concerned with the background color, so much as if the design can be used in color or all black/white.

Thank you for all of your new ideas. I think I am looking for something a little more "home-ie", maybe rustic is the word. The background for the recipe pages is a unused recipe card that looks like it came from your grandmas recipe box with a modern background. Most of the information pages are in warm, earth tones with a simple design. I like how an image is used to make the word on these logos... www.swishwine.com -or- http://blog.snoackstudios.com/inspiration/10-great-logos-for-inspiration/ (the one that uses the wine glasses as the "w"in wine) Perhaps using a spatula, whisk, fork, spoon, knife, etc as the letters??? Or incorporating an image to link the two words??? I look forward to seeing your ideas. Hope you all had a happy Easter/Bunny Day/Resurrection Day!

All of these designs are great, but I would really like to see other ideas besides a fork and knife. The ideas I want to convey are healthy, fast, and delicious. There are also lots of cooking tips as well... Thank you all so much for your time and effort! I can't wait to see your ideas :)
