Creative Brief

Business Logo: Band-Aides for Boo Boos Press

Band-Aides for Boo Boos Press or B (for [*note:minimize the for]) B Press or

Yes

I want this design to be a band-aid/bandage either circle or the regular rectangular type. It is for a publisher of childrens health books, so I would like it to be kid-friendly, with color. I would like it to have a professional feel (not too cartooney), while still being appealing to children. Crisp lines and wording. This company is all about educating kids about different diseases, and helping to heal their hearts, minds, and bodies through education. Thus, I have thought about a band-aid/bandage wrapped around a heart & brain, or somehow incorporating a heart/brain outline somewhere in the logo, but not a heavy illustrative version of heart & brain, simple illustrative version; if done in that fashion. Would also like to see either the whole press name (Band-Aides for Boo Boos Press [minimize the 'for') or (B for B Press [minimize the 'for' again); looking for creative ways people may come up with for this aspect.

"I am open to seeing bright child inviting colors. Thus far I really like the orange, tan, peach, yellow combination, with some darker lettering. I have realized that I am not fond of purple, brown or darker colors for this, unless it is for the wording in the logo or outline of wording."

not sure

Just make sure it doesnt look too much like the colors of the traditional Band-Aid brand bandages as they are a trademarked brand (Cherry red wording, blue background).
