I photograph mostly in natural settings ... people, landscape, wildlife. The winning design will be used on my website (www.julieleephoto.com), watermark, Facebook page, business cards and future blog.

black, white, green (lime), fuchsia....or surprise me and I'll give feedback. I'm open to your ideas. Will need to display on a black background as well as white or light colored

Do you have any additional suggestions or ideas?

Would like a graphic element either behind part of the text (see my failed attempt at www.julieleephoto.com) or as part of the text. This element would become my graphic identity for a favicon and wallpaper. I've always liked this one... www.angelabraniffphotography.com.
I DO live in Florida but prefer the logo to NOT have a tropical feel.

A big thanks to all of the participating designers. I came in to this project with only a vague idea of what I wanted and you all helped me to refine that. I appreciate the designs that really stepped out to show me different ideas. It was hard to choose the winning design and really loved 5 of them! Thanks again for your creative work and inspiration! PS: Feel free to experiment with additional colors...winning design will need to pop against black and show well with white too.

I'm moving away from the bird design element. They are too cute and that's not the feel I'm looking for (except #44 which is very clever). I appreciate all of the design work and especially those of you who have offered ideas I hadn't considered. Like I stated in the project bio, I will need some type of original graphic element to become my watermark, favicon, and wallpaper. If you have a 3 or 4 star rating on your submission, please provide both a black background and white background if you haven't already done so. Thanks!

I'm liking the single solid bird and Fonts in #1 and #4. Would also consider either leaf or wildflower element. How about a larger graphic behind the text?
