The HLR Foundation is dedicated to promoting the development of young underprivileged males, ages 12-18, through educational, cultural and leadership training. We are committed to preparing the leaders of tomorrow for the challenges of the 21st century and beyond because we understand that given the plight of our urban communities, leadership development is more critical than ever. The Foundation meets these challenges head-on with programs designed to unlock every child’s full potential, transcend cycles of limited opportunity and develop youth into morally grounded, academically accomplished leaders.

We work with under served teens in failing public schools, therefore, we can fall into the category of education. What we do NOT like are the typical education logos that are cutesy and elementary. Our kids are tough, street smart and serious and so are we.
