The design is for a landscape company that both installs and maintains landscapes for residential and commercial clients. Many of our residential clients have properties on lakes. We are hypersensitive to lake health in our company.

I would like to incorporate a dark forest green but other than that there are no preferences.

We are looking for a piece of the logo to be a representative mark that we could used independently of the company name. This could be a symbol or a stylized letter or group of letters. The best example I saw of this is on Hercule’s Hardwood Flooring this project can be seen under the “browse projects” tab on 2/3/12. Some other examples of this are under the “portfolio” tab are Rosenthal, Expandys and Sprit ProNet. The Inc. at the end of the name could be dropped if it made for a better design. It is important that our logo looks good in black and white because we do some advertising where color is not available. This logo will go on our trucks, business cards, stationary and web so it is important that it looks good on white, black and green backgrounds in some form. I would also like a Web 2.0 vision. Thank you very much.
