We do not want to be branded or viewed as a typical Construction General Contractor. The majority of our managers are business, finance, law professionals with an expertise/concentration in construction.

We consist of professionals with certifications, degrees, and licenses to protect the interests of apartment, home, and property owners.

We are mostly hired by property owners who are undergoing maintenance, large capitol improvements, or simply have issues with government agencies and, or previous design/construction contractors.

For example, let's say that an apartment owner wishes to undergo a $50,000 roof job. We are hired to create a Scope of Work, Specifications as to how the work should be performed (i.e. what type of roof shingle and whether it must be stapled or nailed), and a budget based on the examination of his financials for that particular property.

The principal is a CPA-Architect-Attorney with an MBA who also owns a Property Management Company.

He reviews the financials for the owner and performs an assessment of the property as to what he/she should anticipate in upcoming necessary repairs like a leaky roof, bad gutters, parking lot, etc.

Based on the property owner's cash flow, he will create a reserve account to save up for upcoming repairs or make a recommendation to how much the property owner should spend on his roof.

Upon settling on a budget, he proceeds to get bids from roofing contractors and negotiates the contracts.

Our firm inspects the work to ensure that it is performed in accordance to our specifications. We facilitate payment.

We often use technology which is not specific to our region and try to stay ahead of every other construction company in the area.

In many cases, we will be the ones performing the actual construction when we are not confident in the bids or the prices that we obtain through putting it to public bid.

Thus, we do perform construction, but we are first and foremost, there to ensure that the owner is getting the most for his money and a quality product.

In addition to doing expert testimony for construction defect lawsuits, negotiating with building departments/inspectors, and meeting with banks to perform due diligence inspections, WE DO A LOT OF EMERGENCY REPAIRS.

Let's say you have a flood from a broken pipe. You don't want to be in a position to hire a plumber that knows that you are in a bind and will take advantage and bill you at a higher rate, we are often deployed to fix the problem and look for economic ways to address the situation.

We perform value engineering services. For example, if you hire a roofer to do your roof, he may give you a low bid in knowing that he can change order you at a rate of $45 for each sheet of plywood that is not visible under the roof. We have found that instead of replacing all of the sheets of plywood, we can pay him or us for the labor to simply use the existing by screwing them down instead of replacing them.

In summary, we do construction but we approach it from a business and legal standpoint to ensure that you are getting the best deal possible.
