Personal Press started building a small almost desk top hydraulic press to form small aircraft sheet metal parts. It was a bit of a play on words relating to 'personal computer'.
Then do to customer demand, the presses grew and grew until today our biggest weighs 45,000 lbs. In addition, we also make a heat treating system to strengthen the parts after forming.
Our current logo is the weakest element in our web page and we are looking to upgrade it.
We have certainly thought about changing the company name to more closely reflect our current day product line but we are pretty well known in the industry so that is probably not a good idea.
