We are a financial services / financial planning company. Our name and logo need to be associated with thoughts of both water, calming and an easily recognizable logo scheme. We need the logo to be somewhat traditional since we are a investment company, but at the same time be new age and authentic enough to grab attention. We do not want the logo to be very busy. We have thought about a scheme including a lighthouse or water design. We would like it to be minimal colors. Some of the brand logos we like are Van Kampen Investments (Light house). We want a logo that is clean with minimal intricacise that stands out. We are based in maryland so if you could incorporate that into the theme that would be great. Traditional Text and a emblem would be nice. We are a young company who is new age in providing advice to the new millenium. TidePointe is the space where the tides meet going into the chesepeake bay. I like this designer's clean style http://nicksickelton.com/#1203418/Logos. I also like whats called the Thomas Point Light House in annapolis.

Square Logo / no circular logos, Old Financial firm Lettering with new age symbolism. TidePointe can be split up with symbol in between, advisors needs to be understated and smaller than TidePointe because advisors is less improtant.
