Creative Brief

Clearly Trained Brand Update

Clearly Trained

eLearning - Interactive - Mobile

Yes

We're looking for a more edgy - brandable approach to our brand. It's a little stale and flat - we've had some good looks crop up with making the hand logo 3d, but we're open to any and all concepts. We want the hand icon to exist in some format (basically, keep the same iconic look - but put a twist on it whether that means coloring, dimensions, layout, etc).

You can check out our work at www.clearlytrained.com - our intent with the re-branding is to really push the colors & style in your face a bit more - break out of any corporate eLearning type stereotypes and appeal to a more games and simulation type training crowd.

We're open to any color scheme. We want something simple (so no full gradients with rainbows.. unless you think that would work!). We love a good logo that works just as well at .5 inches as it does billboard sized - it should have an iconic memorable feeling (dare I say explosive?!?!) - but seriously - go nuts with the branding and coloring, we're looking for something unique!

not sure

Again, the point of this isn't to come up with an all new logo - but just re-envision what we have currently at www.clearlytrained.com - a sample of the 3d logo idea is at: http://clearlytrained.com/images/icons/hand.jpg . A site we really love and find some motivational branding concepts from is http://www.chaoticmoon.com/ - now their brand is a little 2d (could be good or bad for us), but overall their coloring and brand impact is amazing & memorable. A good site for influence.

For the last day, if anyone would like just do a free-for all - no restrictions (so no need to use the hand, no need to go in any particular direction) just to see if anyone else has a unique idea, thanks

#55, that's really interesting - i like how it flows together - maybe get rid of the button on the shirt sleeve (it just gets in the way) - I'm not liking the multi-color hand where it's split in half but that's a great layout (where it all feels like an arm/has direction to it). So please play with the colors a bit more - maybe the weight of the font and the thickness of the line in the hand icon could be closer or the same as well. again looking good!

The designs I've not eliminated are getting there - they all have the same sort of simplicity & direction (which is good) - if you all could keep playing with the colors and fonts please do - also we'd probably only ever use one of the finger icons, but in #12 i can see it working though. I'd like to see #45 and #23 in a few more versions - again play with fonts and colors and layout, but those are going in the right direction. Thanks everyone!

Okay thanks. If you could supply original files for the hand that would allow us to use the exact image.

Same hand please.. But play with the font, style perspective, amount of illustration.. It could go isometric, pixel art, etc. So with the hand you can add elements, change position.. If you look at the sample images you can see 3d examples as well

Can you clarify please, do you want to use the exact same hand image as the one you've supplied or is a recreation acceptable? Thanks.

Also - please make sure you've looked at our current brand (www.clearlytrained.com).. keep the hand icon the same, just put a twist on the way it's shown (3d/direction/text layout/etc)

Anyone doing a design - the tag line isn't needed, just the company name and hand elements, so feel free to skip that part - not sure how it came up as 'include in design'
