Conservative logo for probate law firm

I would like the logo to convey a conservative and professional tone. I will be practicing in several areas, but my main target market is practicing in probate matters, including estate administration and planning, with some real estate, adoption, etc., added in.

I don't really have a preference. Blue/red/green colors would work. Depending on the design, working in deep browns might do well too.

Probate law deals heavily with family matters and planning for life events. Having a tree, signifying a family tree as one of the options, would be interesting. If using a tree, I'm from the south, so a southern live oak tree comes to mind.
The downside of probate law is that is deals with death - a lot. I obviously would not want coffins or pictures of children fighting over money in the logo. hahaha
I am also not against use of my initials AT or AET somehow in the logo.
I'm not sure on the number of colors. If you can keep it to 2, I guess the future printing cost would be cheaper, but if using 3 in a logo makes it look really good, I'd be fine with that.
