Our objective is to modernize our existing logo, without completely changing it; likely we will be able to change the company icon and color(s), but will not be able to change the font.
The existing icon is supposed to be a semiconductor wafer and an IC package assembly - the black square part is the IC package, whereas the round portion is the semiconductor wafer.
Right now the icon is too busy, and perhaps too literal; we would like to see concepts that are more abstract, and less busy (so less detailed).
