The Doorhickey is a new product that suctions to your sliding glass door for hands-free opening and closing. Suction The Doorhickey anywhere on your sliding glass door (i.e. shoulder height, elbow height, hip height or foot height) and when your hands are full, use your shoulder, etc., to push The Doorhickey and slide open your door. I'll try to at least get a picture of the Doorhickey on the website, which is so far undeveloped...www.doorhickey.com.

We think we want bright colors to attract shoppers...maybe almost fluorescent. Red, orange, yellow, blue, lime green...all may be fun colors. This is likely an end cap item that will hang in a big box store or hardware store.

Even though the official name is The Doorhickey, we're not sure if The needs to be a prominent word.
But Doorhickey is a fun term and may add to the marketing.

    My business partner and I disagree on a logo we like. I'm partial to #11 but the "oo"s look like infinity and are irrelevant to the product. Would anyone like to try making the "oo"s look like a sliding glass door-one "o" being the left side of the door and the other "o" the right side? My partner likes #8 because the "o"s look like doors and not sunglasses. I wonder if the "hickey" should be bolder or something. If we choose this logo and need to use it on a television commercial, the "hickey" font is pretty thin and may be hard to read. Thank you, everyone. Please continue to submit ideas. I've guaranteed this project now, so we're going to choose one of the designs.

    Thank you for your kind comments, NewYorkFX. I thought this project was guaranteed... Hmmm, may have to look into that. And thanks to both of you for submitting designs. Draft #2 is more to my liking. I like the smile and the "o"s as eyes. The colors are good, too. Could you change the font of hickey? I'm not sure why I'm not a big fan of it. Thanks, again! Ginger
