We are an English based wood flooring manufacturing company providing a very high end quality product. We use traditional techniques such as smoking, distressing, brushing, staining, ageing and waxing which is all hand crafted.
Our clientele expect the highest standard of finish and the image we want to portray is that of the high end market business. Our flooring is all bespoke hand finished oak and so we are quite unique in what we do. Our main customer base is architects and high end residential clients.
We are looking for an eye catching text design that incorporates our name ‘Edward James’ with the words ‘Fine Oak Flooring’ a little smaller underneath, along with some form of logo shape that is memorable, eye catching, classic but not to old fashioned.
Ideally what we want to get across in our logo and text design is a feel of classic, English, hand finished, high end market, which intern we can use on our website, brochures, business cards, letterheads, invoice headings etc.
We are not looking for too much chaos within the design because that can sometimes detract from the portrayal of a quality product but are open to the use of maybe initials and have no specific font type in mind.
We are not looking for any trees within the design as this seems too obvious and common within wood based companies.
