The company is passionate about teaching the basics of money and investments to individuals (Gen Y, Wealth Builders & Retirees) and Small Business ....essential financial education only - no after-sales or products being sold - This company is the first of it's kind in Australia. I believe this infoshould really be taught in schools, but isn't.

Pilot trials have been really successful with group workshops for teenagers through to retirees and small business - everything from budgeting to investment types, loan basics, transition to retirement etc...understanding P&L's, improving cashflow, marketing strategies, questions to ask re; tax, fees, economic situation etc.....lol, all the exciting stuff!! Then people can go and source their own specialists (accountants, planners etc) to get advice - with the right questions to ask and a little bit of knowledge behind them...and not feel like they are blindly trusting entities with their hard earned money. After extensive prelim-research and 15 years exper. in the financial industry. This is the first place for people to go and learn the fundamentals via workshops,webinars & elearning to ask questions and get correct, practical answers without feeling silly or worrying about having to commit to anything further.
The name EQUIS is the parent company and will own a few subsitiary companies - the first being this Education & Training facility. Equis was developed from owner's passion for horses and Equity markets! Ideally a strong logo is required given financial/education based company however would appreciate a subtle horse/horsehead together with australian money and/or education type symbol too....favourite colours are navy, silver, black, white.....
