I think less colors are better because it is easier to recognize. I can imagine that a bright green or bright blue text color with a black backround looks good. But it's not a requirement. I am not sure but I think it should be a two color design.

It should be a modern design, nothing classic or standard. It should look professional and trustworthy. I thought of a text or text with logo in green or blue with black backround. I am not a designer so feel free to be creative. Our business is about financial services.
