ePod is an education company targeted at making learning fun. It targets students between age 3-12 (grades pre-K to 6) with a goal to increase learning in math and reading. It makes learning fun by desiging educational curriculum using the fun games, apps, books, videos on a mobile device (ipod touch, iphone, ipad) that is strictly configured for use by a student. The device comes pre-loaded with the best education games, apps, books targeted for the age and learning level of the student. On a weekly basis, a student is given a "challenge" based on the skill he is learning and practicing using games and apps which helps us track student progress. There are weekly individual check in sessions over video conferencing for the student with an ePod coach that helps mentor, motivate and support the student's learning development. There is also a weekly 30 min slot where 5 students come together and simulataneously engage in a competition "ePod olympics" playing education apps, games on their ePods.

ePod stands for educational iPod. Although currently the business only supports the Apple mobile platform, the company is working on developing and offering the same solution on Android, Blackberry, Windows mobile and other platforms.
