Creative Brief

Juno Capital Business Logo

Juno Capital

Yes

Juno Capital is a new venture capital firm based in London that will invest in technology companies. The logo will be used for all corporate communications - business cards, website, brochures, presentations etc.

Over time, we may expand into new areas and so we will need to add "Juno Ventures", "Juno Investments" or other suchlike. There needs to be provision to modify the design for the new names while making it clearly part of the same group.

Abstract

Not really sure about colours. We are keen that the logo looks fresh so not dominated by dark colours. I am more concerned about the designs and we can play around with the colours during the process.

not sure

Not keen on anything that comes across as too 'boxy'
Like curves
Must be abstract - no people, animals etc
Although Juno is a Greek Goddess, not keen on direct references in the art

Here is the sort of thing, but I don't want a near copy of this:

Some more guidance. Capital letters are fine, but I don't think that the lower case "j" or "c" will work. I am keen on the red colours, but I may ask the winner to reproduce the logo in 2 or 3 colours.

I am really excited by the quality of the work here. Thanks again. This is going to be difficult.

#24 and #25 are really cool but not quite right for financial services. Perhaps a bit too cool!

I like #44. Please could you try playing around with different colours and maybe putting the logo in front, not on top.

#23 and #22 are too masculine and therefore not right for financial services. Thanks for the effort

There are some great designs here - thanks to all for your ideas. #39 has received good feedback. Could you try something similar but with a slightly less complicated logo. #27 is also popular. Please can I see some similar designs with different colours so I can compare. I think that the pale green colour used is too light. I like the stronger colours. It is worth trying #28 with different colours. I do not like the leaves in #37 and #30 but the concept is good. You could try more of a 'swoosh'

I like the red and grey combo on #6. Not keen on the USB sign though - any other ideas? #2, #3 and #4 are on the right lines too. Just received a comment that #2 looks like it is falling over - not a good reference in financial services. A shame as I quite liked that one.

Apologies to all - I thought that I had made it clear that I would rather that the design was not dark. I am not keen therefore on dark backgrounds.
