Describe who/what this design is about

This is for my offseason training program for hockey players. I train athletes based around movement patterns that are natural and creative, not weight loading. I want to portray the "primal" feel but fun at the same time. It will be on the program's website and all marketing and print material.

I like the idea of a cross or "X" as in the logo for 49th Parallel Coffee's Epic Espresso - http://www.49thparallelroasters.com/collections/frontpage/products/epic-espresso
It would be great to replace the "X" with 2 hockey sticks that cross and replace the image of the bean with a barefoot and the image of the fire with a caveman head and hockey helmet. On the left and right side of the "X" I would like the word "TRAIN" on the left and the word "PRIMAL" on the right and the word "OFFSEASON" below the Caveman Head.
