I like black and garnet (or some other shade of deep red), but I'm open to other suggestions. The background color needs to be white.

The full name of the law firm must be in the logo (preferably all in big/small capital letters), although one or more initials may also be included in a graphic design meant to complement the firm's name (I'm open to ideas here).
The letters "LLC" (no periods) need to be included at the end of the firm's name, even though many graphic designers don't like to include such suffixes in the logo. This logo is for a law firm, and the inclusion of the suffix "LLC" is necessary.
Also, please stay away from patent/invention-related pics (like light bulbs), which I think look cheesy and unprofessional in a logo (at least in the legal field).
