Healthy Communities of Pierce County is a coalition of local businesses, non-profits, and the health care community working together to make Pierce County, Washington a healthier place to live. Our major emphases are increasing access to healthier foods and increased physical activity options. Our primary work is done through connecting various groups/organizations/businesses working in this area, helping to strengthen their capacity for doing this work and connecting them to other resources within the county.

Another idea, although very over used, is that Mount Rainier is iconic of our county.
