Logo Design for Immortal Kingdoms Computer Game Website

Immortal Kingdoms

No

Immortal Kingdoms is a computer game still in development. It is an online web based game that can be described as a multiplayer turn based fantasy game that combines tactical, strategy, rpg, and collectible card game mechanics.

The website is not yet available but the Logo will be used primarily for the website.

Here is a link for the concept art to be used on the site: http://www.divshare.com/download/launch/16343243-013

Please be advised that the size, background, and colors may be changed in the art shown in the link above.

Here is a link to some old screenshots that should give an indication of the game's general art style: http://pluvious0.tripod.com/screenshots/. The battlefield, character screen, and spellbook are all still in use but are currently being changed around somewhat. But the general idea is the same.

The above are links to a couple of games that have logos that I like.

I am not entirely certain. I could see something in silver, gray, brown, or gold with some use of other colors or something entirely different. The website has not been started so the logo design and the concept art shown above will determine the website look somewhat. However, the initial idea for the website I considered was using a color concept "somewhat" like this: http://warhammeronline.com/. However, this may be changed entirely.

not sure

Using the castle/kingdom theme combined with magic and "mana" globes specifically in any illustration is one idea. But I am open to anything that looks great and fits the game idea.

A darker and more "gritty" theme/style is preferred, although this does not necessarily limit the use of color.

Another note: The "gods" of the game are not traditional greek, roman, catholic gods. They are more like powerful magic users or warriors from an RPG fantasy setting (and not necessarily human). This is if you do decide to use character images in anyway in the logo.

In case you missed two logos I like: http://poxnora.station.sony.com/index.do http://na.aiononline.com/ The magic "mana ball" in the text of the first link one is a similar concept used in Immortal Kingdoms (mana balls for magic). As you can see from the spellbook from the Immortal Kingdoms game here: http://pluvious0.tripod.com/screenshots/SpellBookNew.bmp The second link has a different way to show the magic but a type of magical energy/light in the logo in some way would make sense.

Using "IK" in the image in addition to "Immortal Kingdoms" is something that could be done.

Please keep in mind the "Kingdoms" part of the game is only a part of the game and thus only a part of the logo design. The game is also about Gods fighting each other by using their Immortals and about the use of magic. So please keep that in mind with the design. The game is quite unique in many ways and this should show through. The attachments shown are only a "base" idea and not a "whole" idea.
