Creative Brief

Logo for a business "for sale" marketplace website start-up

Bizly or Bizly.Biz

The smartest way to buy and sell a Biz without a broker

Yes

A logo that encompasses the essence of our website which is a marketplace where buyers and sellers of businesses can interact without the need of a business broker. We will offer all the advantages a broker claims without the seller paying tens of thousands of dollars in commissions and without the frustration both buyers and sellers encounter when using a broker such as no return phone calls, slow response in getting requested documents, broker arrogance towards buyers given they hold the gate key to the seller etc etc.

I will leave it to creative design. All I want is a logo that exudes the true essence of the site as explained above.

not sure

Maybe a "No Broker" sign hanging from one of the letters or hands shaking to show a deal getting done. It does not have to have either if you have a more creative idea. Again, we are a marketplace that allows buyers and sellers of businesses to interact and hopefully transact a deal without the need of a costly business broker. It should be noted that the majority of business brokers do the job part time, to find buyer they simply place a listing on one of the large business for sale websites and wait for the phone to ring. They then make an introduction and if deal closes they make a 10%-12% commission. From our perspective their is really no need for a broker given what they actually do and what they get paid.
