Logo for a solo law practice
My initials?

Contemporary, bold litigation attorney. Maybe using my initials DJP. Something that will be suitable to incorporate in my stationary and business card as well as advertising and webpage to be done later. No "traditional" law images such as scales, column, or gavel. If any image is to be incorporated, should be somewhat subtle, and something that depicts the idea of soaring, like a galloping horse or an eagle. But I am not convinced that an image would be a good addition.

I am thinking teal/grey/black combo. Mostly black and grey with some color, saturated color not pale. Teal leaning towards turquoise blue rather than too much green. I also like a dark burgundy with black and grey. Open to suggestions.

I want it to look contemporary, not stuffy and old school. Yet it should look professional, reflecting a high level of service and excellent professional reputation established over 25 years of practice. My practice is civil litigation (trials) and I work primarily in the two rural counties of Yuba and Sutter, CA. I am presently in a partnership of 5 that will be dissolving at the end of the year, and will be returning to solo practice. Stationary and business cards will have my new office address, phone, fax, web address, and e mail, and will say Law Office of Donna J. Peter, as well as have my name in a separate place with Attorney at Law under it.
